NC IDEA Partnership

IDEA Fund Partners maintains a close strategic partnership with NC IDEA, a not-for-profit organization providing seed grants to promising young technology companies that need help bridging the gap between initial product development and venture capital funding. The partnership with NC IDEA gives IDEA Fund Partners the opportunity to gain deal flow and have access to an ecosystem through the grants process. The fund works closely with the grant winners allowing the partners to see firsthand how the team uses the initial capital and determine which companies have the prospect of generating excellent equity returns.

To date, IDEA Fund Partners has invested in four NC IDEA grant recipients, including Argyle Social, NextRay, Oncoscope, Automated Insights (formerly StatSheet) and Sarda Technologies.
