Scott is a serial entrepreneur with almost two decades of operating, venture- financing and commercialization experience, involving more than 20 startup and emerging- growth technology companies. He currently serves as founder and CEO of Planar Energy, a spinout of the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory and is also a founding partner of Astralis Group. Scott

is the founder and Chairman of the Central Florida Technology Forum and currently serves on the boards of the Greater Orlando Chamber of Commerce, Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission and the Florida High Technology Corridor Council, as well as private investor-backed companies Kramer Technologies and Absolutely Natural. Scott received his B.S. and MIS from Penn State University.
