We initially began tracking Lucid Bots in 2021 and re-engaged when former IFP portfolio
executive Chris Halligan tipped us off about a new funding round. Having followed their
progress, we were impressed by how far the company had come from both a product and
commercial standpoint. Founder and CEO Andrew Ashur stood out for his grit and execution,
bootstrapping early prototypes above his garage before earning Y Combinator backing.
